CIS - IGCSE/IB Scholarship Program 2019-20 | Application Form, Eligibility and Last Date

Canadian International School is offering the CIS - IGCSE/IB Scholarship Program to the class 9th and class 11th students. The scholarship aims to provide a high standard and world-class education to the meritorious students who want to pursue studies at Canadian International School (CIS), Bengaluru.

CIS - IGCSE/IB Scholarship Program Reward:

• 1 scholar of grade 9 and grade 11 will get 100% financial assistance in tuition fee.
• 75% financial assistance in tuition fee will be given to 4 scholars of grade 9 and grade 11.

Eligibility Criteria for CIS - IGCSE/IB Scholarship:

In order to be eligible for the CIS - IGCSE/IB Scholarship Program 2019, students need to fulfill the following conditions:

• An applicant must be applying for admission to grade 9 (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) and grade 11 (International Baccalaureate Program).
• Students should have a minimum of 80% marks in the previous grade for the IB program and a minimum of 85% marks in the previous grade for the IGCSE program.

• Students wishing to apply for grade 9 can download the application form from here
• Grade 11 applicants may download the form from here 
• Download the application form.
• Fill all the details and upload the required documents.
• Send the application form through post to the following address:

• Applicants also have the option to send the scanned copy of application along with the required documents scholarships@cisb.org.in

Documents Required for  CIS - IGCSE/IB Scholarship:

• Copy of birth certificate
• 1 Passport size photograph
• Grade 7 and grade 8 mark sheet for the IGCSE program
• Grade 9 and grade 10 mark sheet for the IB program
• Essay of not more than 600 words stating proof for financial need, leadership skills, personal achievement and contribution to community service

Important Dates of  CIS - IGCSE/IB Scholarship Program:

• Last date to submit the form – 31st Aug 2020 (4 p.m.)
• Notification to eligible candidates regarding test – 4th Sep 2020
• Test date – 11th November 2020

Selection Procedure for  CIS - IGCSE/IB Scholarship Program:

• There are various factors on the basis of selection will be done. Some of them are leadership qualities, evidence of academic excellence, the need for scholarship, artistic or athletic achievement, engagement of school activities, etc.
• The notified candidates have to appear for the test at Canadian International School. The candidates can choose to appear the test in any one of the subjects including Maths, English, and Science. 
• The duration of the test will be of 3 hours (start from 9:00 a.m.).
• For selection, 80% of weightage will be given to test and rest of 20% to interview.
• The interview is conducted after a test on the same day.
