IIM Calcutta Fellow Program 2020, Last Date, Eligibility, Apply Process

Indian Institute of Management, IIM Calcutta is offering the full-time Fellow Program 2020 to the eligible students wishing to pursue advanced studies and research in different specializations of management science. The main aim of this program is to prepare students for taking up a career in teaching and research in management studies. To pursue this program, a candidate must be able to sustain themselves in the rigorous studies of 4 to 5 years.

Candidates can choose to pursue a doctoral program in any of the specializations viz. Economics, Finance & Control, Human Resource Management, Management Information Systems, Marketing Operations, Management Organizational Behavior, Public Policy and Management, Regional Development, Sociology, and Strategic Management. An applicant can apply for a maximum of 2 disciplines.

IIM Calcutta Fellow Program Eligibility:

• An applicant must have a first-class bachelor’s degree in engineering. First-class master’s degree in any discipline or CA passed with minimum 50% marks or CS/CMA with minimum 55% marks and a 3 years bachelor’s degree passed with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
• Non-engineering candidates who have pursued the studies of 10+2+5 years can also apply.
• CMA (USA) candidates are also eligible.
• Additionally, applicants must have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in either 10th or 12th exams.
• Final year students of bachelor’s degree in engineering or master’s degree in any discipline can also fill this form.
• The admission of such candidates will be done on a provisional basis. The last date for the submission of final year mark sheet is 31st December 2019.
• Candidates wishing to apply for this fellowship is required to appear the entrance test namely CAT or equivalent exam depending upon the chosen specialization. The details are given below:

IIM Calcutta Fellow Program Reward:

• Each fellow will receive a stipend of INR 30,000/- to 35,000/- per month.
• Selected candidates will receive a contingency grant of up to INR 65,000 for the first year and INR 25,000/- for the rest of the years of study.
• For field research, the candidates will get financial support of up to INR 50,000.
