Incentive for Meritorious Students in Class/Board/University Examinations Scholarship, Eligibility Criteria, Last Date

Children of DOT employees can enjoy the benefit of Incentive for Meritorious Students in Class/Board/University examinations 2020 scholarship. This scholarship is introduced by the Department of Telecommunications, Government of India.

The scholarship is planned to provide financial support to the praise-worthy students, who performed brilliantly in the annual examination of school/university/board. The reward amount for this scholarship has been planned up to INR 2,000.

Can I Apply for this Scholarship?

To apply for this scholarship:-

• The applicant must score the highest grade in all subjects.
• The applicant must be a domiciled India.
• One of the applicant's guardian must be an employee of DOT.
• The applicant must be a student of the school, college or a recognized University.

What are the benefits of this scholarship?

At School Level

For students of class 2nd to 4th:-

• 1st Position Holder: INR 1,000
• 2nd Position Holder: INR 800

For students of class 6th to 10th:-

• 1st Position Holder: INR 1,100
• 2nd Position Holder: INR 900

For students of class 11th:-

• 1st Position Holder: INR 1,200
• 2nd Position Holder: INR 1,000

At board/university level

• 1st Position Holder: INR 2000
• 2nd Position Holder: INR 1000
• 3rd Position Holder: INR 600

2. Fill in the required details in the application form.
3. Upload all the documents mentioned there.
4. After this, send the application to Section Officer at Welfare/General II Section, Mezz Floor, Department of Telecommunications, Sanchar Bhawan, 20, Ashoka Road, New Delhi – 110001.

Documents required to apply for this scholarship

A self-attested copy of mark-sheet, report card or certificate of the educational institute, from where the candidate has cleared the annual exams.
