International Olympiad of Science (iOS) 2020, Prize, Last Date, Application Process, Eligibility

International Olympiad of Science 2020 is conducted by Silver Zone Foundation. The main purpose of this Olympiad is to bring out the budding talents of the upcoming generation. Since the time of inception, the event has been a great success and has got positive feedback by the teachers and taught alike. International Olympiad is a test in Science and is held to test the proficiency of a student at a national and international level. The competition takes place based on the syllabus prescribed by CBSE/ICSE and other state boards. This test is based on applied science so that participants able to develop their critical thinking and IQ in a better way.

International Olympiad of Science Eligibility Criteria

Level 1

All the students of classes from 1st to 12th are eligible.

Level 2

  • Top 1000 International Olympiad rank holder’s form each class will compete for the position in second-level examination with a minimum of 50% marks.
  • In addition to the above mentioned, the first rank holders having 75% marks on level 1 for school having more than 100 participants are also eligible.

Level 3

1st Rank holder from level 2 from class 6th to 12th will be eligible for level 3.

 

International Olympiad of Science Awards

Level 3-

Winners will be sent for educational excursion to NASA.

Level 2-

Students will receive cash prize between 15k to 75k along with the winner’s trophy and participant certificate.

Level 1-

The awards consist of wristwatches, Achievement certificates, and gold silver and bronze medals.

International Olympiad of Science Test Pattern

  1. The Olympiad is organized in respective schools who are participating in IOS. The test will be conducted during school hours.
  2. The test will be objective types with 60 minutes of duration. The test compromises of 40 multiple choice questions from class I and class II and 50 MCQs for class III to XII. The questions are formed class-specific and contain three categories-
  • Science
  • Reasoning and Aptitude
  • Scholar ‘s Zone

The test will be conducted in English and will be on two dates. Each set of Olympiad has a separate set of questions.

How to Apply for International Olympiad of Science Test

The prospectus containing the registration form will be sent to the schools registered under IOS. Schools that are not registered can also request for the prospectus via email at info@silverzone.org  or can call on 011-26166210/11/12.

Schools are supposed to send filled applications to the foundation before the due date. Students can only register through their schools.

International Olympiad of Science Result

The result will be available at www.silverzone.org after 2-3 weeks of examination.

Important Notes
  • Each winner will be entitled to only one award.
  • The winners will be entitled to higher rank rewards only eg. International top 3 rank holders will get awards based on their international ranks.
