LPU NEST is usually held through online mode, which is accessible through the centers created by the University in more than 200 cities across India. All 12th standard students must be qualified from a recognized board are eligible for Undergraduate programs, and graduation degree must be with the candidate for postgraduate programs

There are 30 questions in the LPUNEST examination, arranged in the format of equal distribution on Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology, along with 20 questions based on General English. There is no negative marking in the examination, and each correct answer retrieves four marks. The syllabus of the Exam is almost similar to the syllabus of 12th standard.

LPUNEST Exam Last Date 2020

Aspirants willing to appear in the LPU NEST Exam 2020 should qualify the 12th standard's board examination of the year 2020 from a recognized board. Minimum of 60% marks are required in subjects combination of Physics/Chemistry/English or Biology/Mathematics/Biotechnology to pass the basic eligibility of appearing in the LPU Engineering Program. LPU NEST 2020 Eligibility Criteria | Norms to Apply for LPUNEST Application Form 2020

Candidates should check the eligibility criteria before applying for LPUNEST 2020. The University has set minimum criteria so that students can save their time by checking the norms first.

Below mentioned are the terms that need to be fulfilled before applying for the LPUNEST 2020, please read the terms carefully:-

• Only candidates with Indian Nationality can apply for this Scholarship.
• Candidate must qualify 10+2 in the year 2020, from a recognized board like CBSE, ICSE, State Board, or any other council, college or institution, etc.
• For admission in B.Tech, M.Tech, and Integrated B.Tech, MBA applicants should have at least 60% marks scored in the 12th standard board examination with subjects like Physics, Mathematics, and English on maximum priority.

For B.Tech in Biotechnology, the subjects which will be considered are Physics, Chemistry, English & Mathematics/Biology with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in 12th standard.

For B.Tech in Chemical Engineering (CHE), B.Tech. (Petroleum), the subjects which will be considered are Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics & English with at least 60% aggregate marks in 12th or any exam equivalent of it.

Additionally, the Scholarship is also available on the basis of

• Percentage scored in the qualifying examination.
• Performance in sports, cultural, R&D, Social Service, Co-curricular, and Bravery Awards.
• Special Scholarship is also available for the Toppers of Educational Board.

The Lovely Professional University's NEST 2020 Application Form has already been released by the University for various undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The applicants can apply for the test via readily available both online and offline mode. University centers also provide the application form and LPU NEST kit to the candidates.

LPU NEST 2020 Slot Booking

The candidates are needed to book their time slots of the examination after submission of their Application Form. The slot booking window will start to appear on the official website from December-1, 2020.

There's a link on the official website, which will direct the candidates to a registration window. There, then they have to fill up their application number to book the slot. Here are the two options to book the examination slot:-

• Applicant (Select this option if you want to select the date yourself)
• University (Select this option if you want the University to choose the date for you)
  
  
• After selecting an option, carefully fill up your test city, as this won't be possible to change it in the future once it's filled up).
• The applicant has to provide at least five dates of examination if he/she has opted for the University option of slot booking.

The Online Test booking system is a network-based online scheduling system that will be available on the official website: www.lpu.nest. In March 2020.

Applicants are free to book their center, date, and desired time. It is compulsory for each candidate to book the test at least three days prior to the desired date:

• Slot bookings are made on the first-come, first-serve basis after monitoring the availability.

LPU NEST 2020 Cut-Off

LPU NEST 2020 cut-off is the minimum score a candidate requires to pass the admission eligibility of Lovely Professional University's National Entrance and Scholarship Test.

The cut-off marks for B.Tech courses can be calculated based on the previous year's cut-offs. The Scholarship will be availed to those students only, who'll score enough marks to match the cut-off.

• The minimum mandatory marks will be set by the University, on the basis of numerous factors.
• Factors determining cut-off: Number of vacant seats, Number of applicants, average performance in the entrance test, and the final year's cut off.
• After the result's declaration, the merit list will get prepared using the candidate's score in the entrance examination test.
• Candidates who'll get shortlisted by reaching up to the cut-off marks will be called for counseling or seat allotment process.
