National Biennial Competition 2020 for Green Grass Roots invites all the applications for creative innovative mind till class 12^th. The main aim of this competition is to reveal the hidden talent of the students and making their position in society. They can present their innovation in the field of machines, agriculture products or processes of household utility or energy conservation, farm /non-farm operations.

This innovative competition is managed by the National Innovative Foundation which is running under the aegis of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. This foundation aims at revealing the innovative talent and getting their innovation identified to the world.

Eligibility Criteria for National Biennial Competition 2020

• The applicants of both genders can apply.
• Must be a citizen of India.
• The competition is open to the students, self-employed/professionals /aided/unaided /theories of Art.
• Students from special category awards.
• Idea and creation should be their won without any help from an elder or teachers.

Who are not eligible for National Biennial Competition 

• Entries from professionals having a PG degree or affiliated with the formal institutions.
• Those who have professional experience in the private and public sectors.
• Projects of students who are registered in engineering, biotechnology or any other professional /postgraduate courses will not be accepted.

National Biennial Competition 2020 Awards of 

The students will be awarded the following benefits:-

• Lifetime achievement of INR 7.5 lakh which includes fellowship, award and community/nature.
• National Award winner will receive 5 lakh P/A.
• The second national award winner will get INR 3 lakh.
• The third national award winner will receive INR 1 lakh.

Many consolation prizes of INR 10,000 each under various categories.

How to Apply the National Biennial Competition?

Applications can apply offline either self or in a group. One must follow the mentioned steps:

• Application on Plain paper describing innovation and ideas.
• Attach supporting videos, photos or sketch of your design.
• Attach other supporting documents and herbal entries. The sample should be properly dried plant.
