National Centre for Radio Astrophysics of the Tata Institute for Fundamental Research (NCRA-TIFR), Pune offers NCRA-TIFR Jawaharlal Nehru Post-Doctoral Fellowships 2020 for the young scientists having exceptional intellectual caliber. Under this fellowship, candidates will get an opportunity to work in the frontier areas of astronomy, astrophysics, instrumentation and software development.

NCRA-TIFR Jawaharlal Nehru Post-Doctoral Fellowships Reward 2020

• After a doctoral degree, the selected fellows will get a salary depending on their experience.
• The starting salary ranges from INR 55,000/- to INR 75,000/- per month.
• Contingency grant of INR 32,000 per annum and a travel grant of INR 3 lacs during the complete duration of the fellowship will be given to selected fellows.
• In-campus accommodation facility or house rent allowance and medical benefits will also be provided to the fellows.

To be eligible for this fellowship, students have to satisfy the following eligibility conditions:

• This fellowship is open for young scientists possessing exceptional intellectual caliber.
• An applicant must have a minimum of 1-year post-doctoral experience prior to applying for this fellowship.

1. The application form can be filled and submitted via offline mode.
2. To apply for this fellowship, aspirants have to create an application carrying a research plan, a curriculum vitae, and names and email addresses of three or more referees.
3. Now, send the completed application via email to the Dean, NCRA-TIFR Faculty at deanncra@ncra.tifr.res.in.
4. Aspirants also need to request their referees to send the recommendation letters to the Dean before due dates.

Selection Procedure
