Sasakawa India Leprosy Foundation (S-ILF) is offering a Nursing Scholarship for Girls living in self-settled leprosy colonies. The scholarship is being provided for pursuing nursing and GNM studies. The selection committee will select 10-15 candidates for awarding the scholarship. The scholarship is available for studies in institutes recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC). 

Nursing Scholarship For Girls, Sasakawa India Leprosy Foundation Eligibility:

Following are the eligibility conditions for Nursing Scholarship for Girls, Sasakawa India Leprosy Foundation 2021:

• An applicant must be a first-year student of the B.Sc Nursing (Basic) or General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course.
• At least one parent has leprosy or the applicant itself had leprosy.
• An applicant must be residing in a self-settled leprosy colony.
• Candidates who are pursuing B.Sc. (Basic Nursing) must have passed the 12th with PCB and English subjects while those opting for GNM must have passed the 12th with PCB subjects.
• The age of the applicant must not be less than 17 years at the time of applications.
• Candidates availing of any other scholarship are not eligible.

Nursing Scholarship For Girls, Sasakawa India Leprosy Foundation Reward:

• Scholars will receive financial support of up to INR 80,000/-. It includes tuition fees, mess fees, admission fees, hostel expenses, etc.
• Also, the scholars will get a monthly stipend of INR 1,000/-.
• The amount will be paid to the institute directly.

• Leprosy certificate of parents (or treatment certificate)
• 3 passport size photographs
• Self-attested copies of 10th and 12th mark sheet
• Self-attested copies of birth certificate or proof of DOB
• Reference letter from colony leader (annexure-II)
• Admission letter or annexure 1
