Social Welfare Department, Government of Uttarakhand is the authority that regulates the Pre-Matric Scholarship for ST Students (State/Center Sector) 2019-20, Uttarakhand. This scholarship is meant for the students of Class 1st to Class 10th studying in affiliated schools within the state. The objective of this scholarship is to financially support the students of the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category in completing post-matric education.

Pre-Matric Scholarship For ST Students (State/Center Sector) 2019-20 Eligibility

Students wishing to apply for this scholarship have to fulfill the following eligibility conditions:

• The aspirant must be the domiciled candidate of Uttarakhand and belongs to ST category.
• He/she must have passed the last qualifying examinationwith good marks and must be studying in affiliated schools of the state.
• The annual family income of thecandidates studying in class 9th to class 10th must not exceed 2 lacs.
• There is no restriction in annual family income for the students of class 1st to class 8th students.

Pre-Matric Scholarship For ST Students (State/Center Sector) 2020 Rewards

The scholarship amount awarded to the scholars depends upon the class in which he/she is studying:

• Students of Class 1st to Class 5th will get a scholarship amount of INR 600 per annum.
• Class 6th to Class 8th students will be awarded an amount of INR 720 per annum.
• Students studying in Class 9th to class 10th will get INR 1500 per annum.
• Class 9th and Class 10th students living in hostels will receive INR 3500 per annum.

3. Candidates must read all the instructions carefully to acquaint themselves with the application procedure.
4. Click on ‘continue’.
5. Now, select state of domicile, scholarship category, scheme type, gender and enter details like name, DOB, mobile number, email ID, bank details, etc.
6. Verify your mobile number through OTP.
7. After that, log in your account by entering the application ID and password.
8. Fill the rest of the details in the form and submit it.
9. Students must retain their application ID and password safe for further use.
