SOF International Company Secretaries Olympiad (ICSO) 2019-20, Last Date, Eligibility Criteria, Apply Process

SOF International Company Secretaries Olympiad (ICSO) organized in partnership with The Institute of Company Secretaries of India. Students of class 11th and class 12th are eligible to participate in ICSO Olympiad. This Olympiad provides an opportunity for the students to analyze their weak and strong areas and also compare themselves with other students at a school, city, zonal and international level.

SOF International Company Secretaries Olympiad Eligibility Criteria

Below, we are mentioning the eligibility criteria for SOF International Company Secretaries Olympiad (ICSO):

• This Olympiad is open for the students of Class 11th and Class 12th.
• Students having a background in science, commerce and humanities stream are eligible to apply.

Note: Minimum 5 students should be enrolled from each school to be eligible for Olympiad.

Rewards SOF International Company Secretaries Olympiad (ICSO) 

The award will be distributed to the students as per their zonal, school, and international ranking. The awards include gifts, cash awards, medals, and certificates. The international topper of each class will receive a grand prize. The ceremony for which will be held in Delhi. Zonal and school winners will get the prize in their respective schools. A total amount of 16 crores is decided to be distributed this year.

Exam Pattern ICSO

The details regarding the scheme of examination are as follows:

• It is a written objective type test consists of 50 multiple-choice questions.
• The duration of the test is 60 minutes.
• For each class, there is a separate question paper.
• The exam medium will be English only.
• The examination is conducted in the school itself during school hours.
• The question paper comprising of 5 sections viz., quantitative analysis reasoning, accountancy, economics, business studies, and achievers section.
• The test will be based on CBSE, ICSE/ISC, and State Board syllabi.

How To Apply For SOF International Company Secretaries Olympiad (ICSO) 2020

Aspirants can apply for this Olympiad by following the below-given steps:

1. Students have to apply through their respective schools only.
2. Schools have to request the prospectus containing registration form either through email or a phone call.
3. The schools may request registration forms by sending an email at info@sofworld.org or phone call on 0124-4951200.
4. Each participant has to pay the registration fee of INR 125/-.
5. Submit the completely filled application form to SOF before the last date.

• Exam date – 20th December and 31st January 2020 (Students can choose any one of the exam dates as per their convenience)

Selection Procedure

The selection of the students will be solely done on the basis of their performance in SOF ICSO Students will get rank as per their scores obtained in the Olympiad exam.
