Vocational Education Scholarship for ST Students 2020 being offered by the Tribal Development Department, Government of Maharashtra. This scheme is meant for the Maharashtra domiciled candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribe (ST). Students enrolled in vocational courses like pharmacy, MBA, MCA, dairy development, engineering, Vaastu Shastra and animal husbandry can apply for this scheme. The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage backward class students to pursue higher studies.
Eligibility Criteria: Vocational Education Scholarship for ST Students
In order to apply for this scholarship, students have to fulfill the following eligibility conditions
- The candidate must belong to Maharashtra state.
- He/she must pursue vocational courses such as pharmacy, MBA, MCA, dairy development, engineering, Vaastu Shastra and animal husbandry.
- The applicants must not be a repeater in a class.
- Only ST category candidates can apply for this scholarship.
- Students whose family income is less than INR 2.5 lacs per annum are eligible.
Vocational Education Scholarship For ST, Maharashtra Rewards
Candidates will receive maintenance allowance depending upon the tenure of the course. Following are the details related to the amount of scholarship given to the selected students
- Students pursuing courses of duration 4 - 5 years will get INR 7,000/- to 10,000/- per annum.
- For 2-3 years of courses, the amount of INR 5,000/- to 7,000/- will be provided to the scholars.
- In the case of pursuing courses of 2 years or less, the amount of INR 5000/- per annum will be given to the awardees.

- In the case of OTP authentication, candidates will get OTP in their registered mobile number.
- Fill all the registration details.

- Students must retain the printout of the confirmation page for future correspondence.
