CBSE Heritage India Quiz 2019-20 Application Form, Eligibility and Last Date

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is conducting an inter-school quiz competition namely CBSE Heritage India Quiz 2019-20 for the students of class 9th to class 12th. All the CBSE affiliated schools can participate in this quiz. Each school can select maximum of 3 students and get registered as a team. The theme of the quiz is “Valuing the priceless: the value of Heritage and Culture in India - with special focus on the life and works of Mahatma Gandhi.” The aim behind conducting this quiz is to make familiarize the students with the conservation and management of the country’s heritage.

CBSE Heritage India Quiz 2019-20 Eligibility

Below are the eligibility conditions to apply for CBSE Heritage India Quiz:

• Only students of CBSE affiliated schools of India and foreign countries can apply.
• Students of Class 9th to Class 12th can participate in this quiz competition.

CBSE Heritage India Quiz 2019 Rewards

• All the participants of semi-finals and finals will receive a certificate.
• Reimbursement for second AC rail fare will be provided to the teams qualified for the national semi-finals.

Semi-finals Prizes:

• 4 teams holding 2nd position in semi-finals will get INR 3,000/- each.
• 4 teams holding 3rd position in semi-finals will get INR 15,000/- each.
• 4 teams holding 4th position in semi-finals will get INR 1,000/- each.

Finals Prizes:

• INR 21,000/- will be given to the winning team.
• The team holding 2nd position in finals will receive INR 12,000/-.
• The team holding 3rd position in finals will receive INR 7,500/-.
• The team holding 4th position in finals will receive INR 4,500/-.

How To Apply For CBSE Heritage India Quiz

Following is the application process of CBSE Heritage India Quiz:

1. Firstly, schools interested to take part in this quiz have to register themselves.
2. Click here to apply online.
3. Enter CBSE affiliation number and school number.
4. Fill all the details in the application form.
5. The registration fee is INR 900/- per team which can be paid either through credit card/debit card/net banking or NEFT transfer.
6. Click on the submit button to submit the details.
7. Now, all the 3 students selected by the school have to register them as a team.

About CBSE Heritage Quiz Online Test 2019-20

The online exam will include 60 multiple-choice questions. 25 % of the questions will be asked on the life and works of Mahatma Gandhi. The duration of the exam will be 50 minutes.

• Online test (phase-1) - 20th Sep 2020
• National semi-finals and finals - Oct 2020 to Nov 2020

Selection Procedure

Firstly, students will be selected on the basis of an online test conducted in the IT labs of the respective schools. 2 teams from each region will be selected for semi-finals. Total 20 teams from 10 regions will get selected to appear in finals. These 20 teams will be divided into 5 groups of 4 teams. Each group winners will be qualified for finals.
