Delhi Government Scholarship for Advancing Art invites all the creative candidates for advanced training in the various form of art. Candidates can register themselves in various categories like Community Arts, Dance, Research in Arts Development, Theatre, Visual Arts and Music. The scholarship is granted by Govt .of Delhi under Sahitya Kala Parishad which is the cultural wing of Govt. of NCT, Delhi for music, drama and fine arts. The purpose of this scholarship is to nurture the art and fostering the artistic culture of India. 

Eligibility Criteria for Advancing Art  

• Candidate of any gender can apply for this scholarship.
• A candidate must be of 18 to 40 years of old. 
• The age for research in Arts Development is 21- 60 years.
• A candidate receiving other scholarships from the state or the Govt. of India is not eligible to apply.
• 10 scholarships are reserved for the candidate belonging to PWD(person with disability) category.
• The scholarship is only for the candidates who are residents of NCT Delhi. 

Delhi Government Scholarship For Advancing Art Reward

The selected candidates will be given a scholarship amount of INR 4000 per month for the community, visual arts, dance, theatre and music and INR 12,000 will be given for Arts Development.
