Saksham Scholarship for Specially Abled Student (Diploma Course) 2020-21

Saksham Scholarship for Specially Abled Students (Diploma) is handled by  All India Council of Technical Education, AICTE. This is especially for the differently-abled students who are pursuing a diploma course from a recognized college/institution. SakshamSchoalrship supports technical education by providing financial support to the students who are suffering from 40% disability. The financial amount will be directly transferred to the student’s account. 

Saksham Scholarship for Specially Abled Student (Diploma ) Eligibility Criteria 

• Must be specially-abled students having a 40% disability. 
• You must have taken admission in the first year of the diploma course or second year of a diploma course through lateral entry.
• Your institute must be AICTE  approved. 
• Family income must not extend more than 8 lakh P/A.

Rewards 

If selected you will get INR 50,000 P/A as a lump sum amount to pay college fee, book purchase, computer/laptop, stationary, etc. Any other extra grant will be given except hostel charges and medical charges etc. ( under certain terms and conditions).

How to Apply for Saksham Diploma Scholarship 

To apply please follow the mentioned steps given below -

• Surf NSP portal. 
• Register by your basic name and academic details. 
• You will get the verification link on your registered email ID.
• Click on the confirmation Email link and you will be linked to the Login page. 
• Log in with your username and password. 
• Fill all the valid information.
• Upload your important documents-

1. Marksheet of 10th and 12th (as applicable).
2. Annual income certificate. 
3. Admission letter Certificate is given by the Director/principal/head of the Institute.
4. Bank account details like account number and IFSC code linked with Adhaar Card, applicant’s photograph.
5. Caste certificate of  SC/ST category (if required)
6. Declaration signed by the parents for accurate information on the documents. 

• After attaching all the mentioned documents, submit your application form. 

Deadline To Apply for Saksham Scholarship for Specially Abled Student (Diploma)

Scheme Announced - 24th August 2020

Closing Date - 31st October 2020

Closing of institute verification Date  - 15th November 2020

Terms and Conditions 

• To read all the guidelines visit the NSP portal. 
• Students who are Fail or dropouts are not eligible to apply.
• CGPA and Total marks of the mark sheet will be verified for the merit selection.
• Applicants must have not applied for any other schemes. 
• Once the application is checked properly, it will be processed for the rewards.
