Telangana Pre Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC/Disabled 2020, Eligibility, Last date, Reward & Application Form

The Government of Telangana introduced the Pre-Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC & Disabled Welfare students of 2020. The primary aim of this scholarship is to reduce the chances of being dropped out of the school, that too in the class 9th and 10th, because of financial disturbance. Scholars who'll be selected through this scholarship will receive variable rewards.

Eligibility Criteria To Apply For Pre Matric Scholarship

Students can apply for this scholarship only if the following requirements get fulfilled:-

• The student must be a learner of class 9th or 10th.
• A student must have a domicile certificate of Telangana State.
• Students who belong to a lower cast or community must have a family income of INR 2,000,00 or less than this.
• Minority welfare students who belong to a backward class or a rural area family must have an annual parental income of less than INR 1,50,000 or below.
• Minority welfare students who belong to an urban area family must have an annual parental income of INR 2,00,000 or below.
• Disabled welfare students must have a parental family income of INR 1,00,000 or less.
• At least 75% of attendance at the end of each quarter is compulsory for students to pass the eligibility of this scholarship.

Rewards of Pre Matric Scholarship for Telangana Students

Variable awards will be disbursed to all eligible students with respect to the state corpus of the scholarship funds.

Documents Required for Telangana Pre Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC/Disabled 2020

For successful registration, these documents are necessary.

• Scanned passport sized image of the candidate.
• Scanned passbook's first page and a scanned image of a canceled cheque of the same bank account.
• Scanned image of the candidate's Aadhar card.
• Later for verification, these documents might be required: Bonafide Certificate, Caster Certificate, Income Certificate.

Application and Registration Process for Telangana Pre Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC/Disabled Welfare

• Visit the Home Page of Telangana E Pass Portal.
• Click on Scholarship Services.
• After that, click on the Registration button for fresh registrations.
• Fill all the details properly
• Upload all the required documents in the scanned format and click on Submit.
