ICMR Junior Research Fellowship 2020, Last Date, Eligibility Criteria, Application Form

The Indian Council of Medical Research in collaboration with the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research invites application for ICMR Junior Research Fellowship from all the eligible candidates. The students with a PG degree in science and in the professional course can apply for ICMR Junior Research Fellowship 2020. This fellowship is particularly for the students who are pursuing a Research/Ph.D. course through organization support.  The selected candidates will get a decent monthly scholarship.

ICMR Junior Research Fellowship 2020 Eligibility Criteria

• Must be pursuing M.Sc./MA or equivalent.
• Must have scored a minimum of 55% marks for general/obc students or 50% marks for SC/ST/ Female/ PWD candidates.
• One must be not more than 28 years of age as on 30^th September 2020 (relaxation up to 5 years for SC/ST/Female / PwD candidates and for OBC candidates is 3 years.

ICMR Junior Research Fellowship 2020 Rewards

Around 150 Scholarship will be awarded to the selected students. Students will enjoy monthly stipends like:-

• INR 31,000
• Yearly grant up to INR 20,000
• Medical benefits and HRA.
• The scholarship will be extended if students perform well in their 2 years of tenure.

What are the selection criteria of the ICMR Junior Research Fellowship 2020

ICMR  is an examination for checking the eligibility of Junior Research Fellowship through Indian National Council of Medical Research. The final selection is based on the scores achieved by the candidates in the examination. Further, the selection will be based on 55% aggregate marks for both the general category and OBC and 50% for SC/ST and PWD sections.
