National Accounting Talent Search (NATS) 2020 is conducting by the Indian Accounting Association (IAA). NATS is the national level competition held every year at the junior and senior levels. The competition is set to be conducted in more than 50 centers across the country. Students pursuing undergraduate courses in commerce, the management, or any other discipline can apply at a junior level while the students possessing any qualifications including post-graduation or professional or any other and having age less than 25 years can apply at the senior level. National Accounting Talent Search 2020 Eligibility

To be eligible for this competition, students have to satisfy the following eligibility conditions:

For Junior Level:

  • Candidates pursuing undergraduate courses in commerce or management like B.Com, BBA, BBM or any other courses are eligible to apply.

For Senior Level:

  • At this level, qualification is not the limitation.
  • Students wishing to apply under this level must not have the age above 25 years as on 1st July 2018 i.e. a candidate must be born after 30th June 1993.

 

National Accounting Talent Search ( NATS) Rewards

The awards will be distributed to the candidates as per their rank secured in the NATS:

  • The best performers (at the junior level) will get INR 10,000/- plus trophy plus certificate and INR 15,000/- + trophy + certificate at senior level.
  • The 2nd best performers will receive INR 5,000/- along with trophy and certificate at the junior level and INR 8,000/- plus trophy and certificate at senior level.
  • 3rd best performersat the junior level will get INR 3,000/- plus trophy and certificate and INR 4,000/- plus trophy and certificate at senior level.
  • An amount of INR 1500/- and certificate at the junior level will be given to all top one percent performers and INR 2,000/- plus certificate at the senior level.
  • All top ten percent of performers will get a certificate at both levels.
  • Those having rank from 50th to 90th percentile will also receive a certificate at both levels.
  • Candidates of a junior and senior level having rank below 50th percentile will receive a certificate of participation.
  • Centre topper will get INR 1,000/- plus trophy and certificate at the junior level.

Exam Pattern

  • The question paper will be objective type. A total of 100 MCQs will be asked in the exam.
  • The time duration allotted to the students to answer the questions is 90 minutes.
  • Each correct answer will carry 4 marks and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
  • At the junior level, the subjects covered are Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Cost Accounting, and more topics of B.Com's first year.
  • The senior-level question paper will be based on UGC (NET) syllabus.

  4. For the junior level, the applicable fee is INR 250/- and for senior-level, the registration fee is INR 500/-.
  5. Click on the ‘Next’ button.
  6. Now, fill all the details asked in the application form.
  7. Upload all the supporting documents and submit the form.

Documents Required To Be Uploaded In The Application Form Are

  • Scanned copy of the attested mark sheet of 12th class.
  • Scanned copy of 1st and 2nd year of graduation or certificate from institution head stating that the candidate has not completed graduation.

Selection Procedure
