Oil Awards and Oil Merit Scholarship 2020 is granted by OIL India Limited that is a part of cooperate social responsibility. It is the second-largest hydrocarbon exploration and production of Indian Public Sector Company. The scholarship invites all the applicants from Class 10th and 12th. The purpose of a scholarship is to provide education and to inspire the young generation to achieve their dreams.

Eligibility Criteria for Oil Awards And Oil Merit Scholarship

Students meeting the following criteria are eligible to apply for Oil Awards and Oil Merit Scholarship:

• Children ofnon-oil employees who have passed 10th and 12th from a school located in oil operational areas like Dibrugarh, Tinsukia, Charaide districts and Changlang district.
• Children of oil employees who have passed 10th or 12th can apply anywhere across the nation.
• For the Oil Award, candidates must state rank holders or must be securing marks above 95 %.

Oil Merit Scholarship Applicant Must Be Any Category Of The Following

Non-Oil Employee Children 

• HSLC - Rural: Under this category, 70 % of seats are reserved and 75 % are unreserved.
• HSLC - Urban: Reserved category 80 % seats are reserved and 85 % are unreserved.
• AISSE: Reserved category 80 % seats are reserved and 85 % are unreserved.
• ICSE - Reserved category 80 % seats are reserved and 85 % are unreserved.
• HSSLC/ AISSCE/ ISCE: Reserved category 80 % seats are reserved and 85 % are unreserved.

For Oil Employee Children

• For Class 10th under reserved category 80 % seats are reserved and 85 % are unreserved.
• For Class 12th under reserved category 80 % seats are reserved and 85 % are unreserved.

Documents Required

Candidates must have the following documents to apply for the Oil Awards and Oil Merit Scholarship

• Scan and self-attested copy of passport size photograph.
• Self-attested mark sheet
• Pass certificate issued by school/college authority
• Caste certificate attested by a gazetted officer.
• Copy of the first page of the bank passbook.
• Copy of BPL card by govt.
• Scan copy of a medical certificate. (PWD students).
