Vahani Scholarship 2020 opens doors for the brilliant and needy students of India. This scholarship is meant for 12th class students. The objective of this scholarship is to send the exceptionally talented and economically deprived students to the top Universities across India for pursuing undergraduate studies. Under this scheme, a full tuition fee along with personal mentorship is provided to the selected students.

Vahani Scholarship Eligibility 2020 

The basic eligibility conditions for Vahani Scholarship are as follows:

• Only Indian residents can apply.
• This scholarship is open for class 12th students.
• Applicants must be talented and must come from extremely difficult circumstances.

Vahani Scholarship Rewards

Following are the details regarding the benefits of scholarship:

• There will be a total of 20 scholarships in a balanced gender ratio.
• Selected students will get full financial assistance in the form of tuition fees paid for pursuing undergraduate courses.
• Also, scholars will get accommodation.
• Pre-University and Post-University mentorship will be provided to the selected students.
• Pre-University mentorship covers personal skill development, psychological mentoring, leadership development, guidance, and cultural adjustment through workshops & exchange programs.
• Post-University mentorship covers career counseling, internal guidance, pairing with working professionals, get-togethers, workshops, mentorship by older students and debates.

1. Applications are invited from the eligible candidates through the nomination scheme.
2. Each school and NGO can nominate a maximum of 5 students in a balanced gender ratio.

Important Dates

• The last date to submit nomination form - 1st November
• Review and shortlist of candidates for 1st interview - 1st to 20th December
• First-round interview result - 31st December
• Second round interview and document verification - 1st to 3rd January
• Final result announcement - End of February

Selection Procedure

Firstly, the students are selected by the panel after reviewing the applications. Then, the selected students will have to undergo for the two rounds of the interview process.
