  • Bachelor of Arts in Journalism or B.A. in Journalism is the 3 years bachelor’s degree programme in mass media. It is the fully residential course consisting of 6 semesters.
  • The average tuition fee for this course ranges between INR 1 lac to 2 lacs for the span of 3 years.

Eligibility Criteria for B.A. in Journalism:
The basic eligibility required for pursuing B.A. in Journalism is higher secondary examination (in any stream) passed from any board of secondary education. The intermediate examination must be studied with English as a mandatory subject by securing the minimum aggregate of 50% marks. There shall be the relaxation of 5% marks will be given to candidates belonging to SC/ST category.

•    There is no similar procedure of admission followed by each institution.
•    The admission process begins with the filling of application form.
•    Candidates can get the application form from the respective institution.
•    Students will be admitted into this course on the basis of entrance test.
•    The entrance test will be conducted at University level like Manipal University conduct MU-OET entrance test, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University conducts common entrance test (CET).
•    Admissions are done on the basis of rank obtained in the entrance test.
