Post-Matric Scholarship for SC Students Assam 2020-21, Eligibility, Last Date, Apply Online Form

Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India has the authority to regulate Post-Matric Scholarship for SC Students Assam 2020-21. Under this scheme, the Assam domiciled students studying in class 11th and above will be provided the scholarship for pursuing higher studies. This initiative is basically taken to encourage the Scheduled Caste (SC) students of the society to pursue higher education.

Eligibility Criteria Post-Matric Scholarship for Scheduled Caste Students 2020:

Following are some of the eligibility conditions which students have to mandatorily fulfill to apply for this scholarship:

• Applicants must pursue post-matriculation or post-secondary studies.
• A candidate must have passed the 10th or 12th examination from a recognized educational board.
• A candidate must belong to SC category and must be Assam domiciled.
• The family annual income of the applicant should be less than 2.5 lacs per annum.
• The aspirant must not be in pursuance of any other scholarship.
• This scholarship is also open for those students who are pursuing studies through correspondence.
• Employed candidates can also apply subject to pursuing a course on leave without pay.
• Candidates enrolled in postgraduate courses of medicine can apply if they are ready not to practice medicine during the entire duration of the program.

Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme for Assam SC Students Reward:

Scholars will receive several benefits which include:

• Maximum maintenance allowance of up to INR 1200/- per month. Also, awardees will get reimbursement for non-refundable fees.
• Reading allowance of up to INR 240/- per month will be given to blind scholars.
• Students pursuing technical and professional courses will receive the study tour charges of INR 1600/- per annum.
• Thesis typing/printing charges of up to INR 1600/- will be given to Research scholars.
• The disabled students will get an additional allowance of up to INR 240/- per month (depending upon the type of disability).
• Also, a book allowance of INR 1200/- per annum will be given to the selected students.

• Students can apply via online mode only.
• For applying online, click to Apply Button
• After that, click on “New User? Register here”.
• Students must read all the instructions carefully before applying.
• Select scholarship name, state of domicile, scheme type, and fill all the requisite details.
• Also, enter bank and address details.
• After verifying the OTP, students have to log in to their account using application ID and password.
• Now, fill the rest of the application form, upload documents, and finally submit the form.
