Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for ST Students, Jammu, and Kashmir 2020 gives a platform for the students to complete their higher education. The students from class 11th to postgraduate can apply for this scholarship. Also, they must be from the ST category with low economic background.  The main aim of the scheme is to support ST category students who cannot afford their studies. Eligibility Criteria 

• One must be a domicile holder of Jammu and Kashmir.
• Must be from the ST category.
• Studying in class 11th to postgraduate.
• Family income should not be more than 2 lakh P/A from all the sources.

Rewards 

This scholarship includes maintenance allowance which is follows – 

• Also includes additional allowance up to INR 240 per month for disabled students.
• Reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees.
• Study tour charges up to INR 1600.
• Annual allowance of INR 1200 to correspondence courses through distance. 

How to Apply 

• Visit the official website and click on “New Registration”.
• Read the instruction carefully and then proceed it further.
• Select your state of domicile, category, scheme type, gender, applicant’s name, email, etc.
• Mention the bank details and Adhaar card number and then register.
• Your mobile number will be registered and will be verified. 
• Login using application ID and password which is generated. 
• Fill and attach all the documents.
• Keep the generated application ID for future use and reference.

Documents to be attached 

• Passport size photograph 
• Attested certificates, diploma, degree, etc.
• Category certificate 
• Income declaration certificate

Selection Criteria 

All the eligible ST students will be given scholarships on the basis of means test mentioned in the rules and regulations.
