1) Ramanujan Fellowship (Science and Engineering Research Board)

This fellowship is for the scientists and engineers who have an outstanding track record. The scholarship is open for all scientist and engineer of the world who want to take scientific research positions in India and for those scientists /engineers who want to return to India. 2) Prime Minister of Research Fellowship

Under Prime Minister Research Fellowship Scheme the students who hold a strong academic background and willing to pursue their PHD from top colleges are selected. 3) PM Scholarship Scheme for Central Armed Police Forces & Assam Rifles

Prime Minister‘s Scholarship Scheme for Central Armed Police Forces and Assam Rifles 2018-19 invites all the eligible candidate regarding this scheme. The scholarship is for of dependent widows and wards of central armed police and Assam Rifles personnel. It provides financial assistance to the candidates to pursue the professional course at PG and UG level. The scholarship is offered by the Welfare and Rehabilitation Board, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. Selected candidates will get an amount between INR 24 to 27 k P/A. 4) Post Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities

Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for Minorities 2018-2019 invites all the students of minority background of class 11th till PhD to apply for this scholarship. It aims at providing financial assistance to the students belonging to minority class that help them to pursue their education. The scholarship includes admission fee, tuition fee and maintenance allowance. The last date to apply is 31st October 2019.

5) Indian Oil Corporation Scholarship

Indian Oil Corporation Limited offers this IOC scholarship for the B.Tech students. Candidates who are in their 1st year of full-time engineering course can apply for these scholarships. Students must be pursuing their course from a UGC recognized university. The student’s family income must be INR 100000 P/A to apply. Therefore, the students will get a reward of 2000 per month.

6) Merit Cum Means Based Scholarship

Merit cum means based scholarship is offering by the Ministry of Minority Affairs. This scholarship is for the students who want to pursue in Btech Course. To apply for this scholarship candidates should belong to minority community i.e. Sikhs, Christians, Muslims, Jains, Parsis, etc. Their family income should not be more than 2,50,000 P/A. A reward of Rs 10000 P/A will gives to Selected candidates for this scholarship

7) NTPC Scholarship Scheme

This scholarship is offered especially to benefit SC/ST and PWD candidates. NTPC offers financial support to the students who are in the second year of their engineering. Students must be pursuing a full-time engineering course. The reward for this scholarship is INR 1500 per month which paid from the second year of the degree.

8) Central Sector Scholarship Scheme for College and University Students

The Central Government and Ministry of Human resources are offering this scholarship for college and university students. This scholarship is also being offered to engineering students who have scored a minimum of 80% marks in their class 12th. Selected students will be given a reward of INR 1000 for ten consecutive months.

1) Sitaram Jindal Foundation Scholarship

Sitaram Jindal Foundation Scholarship is a merit cum means based scholarship. It is started by Sitaram Jindal Foundation which is a charitable organization in Bangalore. To apply for this scheme you need to study in class 11th to PG. The scholarship covers polytechnic and Diploma courses in technical education also. The selected students will get INR 2500 per month. The scholarship goes around a year.

Ratan Tata Scholarship for Btech Students is given by Tata Group through its main sponsors Cornell University in the USA. It invites all the deserving candidates. Cornell provides financial aid of $25 million to top 20 best ug scholars to pursue their higher studies in the UK or U.S.A. Hence, The scholarships cover tuition fees of the candidates.

Note: Students pursuing an architecture course which has a total of 10 semesters but the scholarship will be given for 8 semesters only.

5) Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana Fellowship

This scholarship is a national level exam conducted to offer scholarship up to Pre PhD level for selected candidates. The Indian Institute of Science (IIDC), Bangalore conducts the examination every year. The mode of examination can be online or offline. The candidates commonly awarded a scholarship for the subjects like mathematics, engineering and medicine.
