College of Engineering, Pune is known as COEP, located in Maharashtra. It is one of the oldest Engineering Colleges in Asia, established in the year 1854.
It is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, Maharashtra and approved by All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi.
COEP is constantly ranked among the Top Technical Colleges in India. It has been ranked No.45 for Engineering by MHRD in 2021.
The college has made 3 Guinness World Record in the Guinness World Record books.
It imparts the Technical Education in various disciplines of Engineering such as Civil Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and TeleCommunication, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Metallurgical, Production, Computer Science and Information Technology, Biomedical Instrumentation, Embedded Control, Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering etc.
It offers courses like B.Tech, M.Tech, Ph.D, PG Diploma and B.Tech lateral.
The campus of COEP is spread over an area of 36.81 acres of land having best infrastructural such as Smart Classrooms, Central Library, Seminar Hall, Conference Hall, laboratories with latest equipments, Play Ground , Residential facility, Cafeteria and Mess, E-Journals and many other facilities are available inside the college campus.

There are two types of Clubs in the College, which consists many small clubs inside it such as Technical Clubs and Non Technical Clubs, These clubs are responsible for doing many activities for the welfare of Students.

- To take admission to B.Tech course, students will have to appear for MH – CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test). Selection of students for admission will be done through counseling based on the score obtained in MHCET.
- Admission to M.Tech, students must have completed B.Tech/ BE in relevant discipline from recognized University. Admission will be done on the basis of score obtained in GATE.
- PG Diploma admission, Students will go for Interview round conducted by College. Admission will be done on the basis of marks obtained in last qualifying examination and performance in Interview.

- COEP fee structure changes every year as per the norms of University. As it is a government autonomous college so the college fees is much feasible.
- The examination Fees, Library Fes, Boat Fess and other fees is collected at the starting of the new session.
- There is a relaxation in fees for those students who belong to SC/ST/ OBC category students.
- COEP also provides the stipend monthly to the deserving students.
