Dr. KN Modi Institute of Engineering and Technology (KNMIE), located in Modinagar, Uttar Pradesh. It is a Private Co-Educational Institute, established in the year 1995 by Dr. K. N. Modi Foundation. The college is affiliated to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow and Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut. It is approved by AICTE, New Delhi.
The Institute has built sophisticated infrastructure facility inside the campus, which consist health care facility, sports, separate hostel facility for boys & girls, transportation facility, IT Infrastructure and many others.
There are more than 90 faculty members. All are well qualified and experienced in their respective discipline.
KNMIET imparts the quality education in the field of Engineering, Management and Computer Application. The offered courses are B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering etc, MBA, BCA, BBA and B.Tech lateral entry.
The college organized various programs and activities such as Sports event, Cultural programs, Project work and other curricular and extra co-curricular activities.
It has a Training and Placement cell which prepares the students for campus recruitment by conducting activities like an industrial visit, corporate interaction, pre-placement talk, guest lecture by prominent experts and lot more.

Students can fill the online application form on College official website or they can obtain the application form from college admission office.
For B.Tech, students must have completed 10+2 with PCM subjects and secured minimum 45% marks (40% marks in case of SC/ST category students). Students must have valid score in Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE). Students with valid score in JEE Main can also apply. First priority will be given to UPSEE qualified students and then second preference will be given to those who have valid score in JEE main. Remaining seats will be filled by the college on the basis of percentage obtained in 10+2 examination.
For BBA and BCA, The duration of both courses is 3 years and there is an annual intake of 120 seats in each course. Students must have completed 10+2 in any discipline with minimum 45% marks from recognized Board. Students will be called for Counseling based on the marks obtained in last qualifying examination.
Admission to MBA must hold bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks from recognized University. The number of seats available for this course is 60 seats. Students must secure valid score in UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination). Admission will be done through counseling based on the score obtained in UPSEE. 20% of seats will be filled on the basis of score obtained in CAT.

Fee structure of KNMIET is not very expensive but it’s similar to other Private Engineering Colleges in Modinagar.
Students have to pay caution money in the first semester. It is refundable money which will be given to students once they will be graduated from the college.
The Total fee of B.Tech course is Rs.5,90,000, MBA is Rs. 2,33,260, BBA Rs. 97,000 and BCA Rs. 97,000
