Global Institute is located in Amritsar, Punjab. The group has been established in the year 2008 by Guru Har Rai Educational Society.
Global Institutes has 4 constituent college namely Global Institute of Management and Emerging Technologies (GIMET), Global Institute of Pharmacy (GIP), Global Institute of Management (GIM) and Global Polytechnic College (GPC). These institutes are approved by All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi and PCI and affiliated to Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar.
The Campus of Global Institutes is spread across 27 acres of land in lush green and Pollution Free Environment. There are Administration Block , Residential Complex, Sports complex, Main College Building, Hostel Building and having all the major facilities such as Tutorial rooms, drawing halls, Workshops, Laboratories, library, GYM, Sports facility, Medical Center, Computer lab, wifi, Conference hall, Lecture hall, Transport facility etc.

- Admission to B.Tech will be done on the basis of score obtained in JEE Main. 85% seats are reserved for the students who belong to Punjab and 15% seats are reserved for the students of other states on the basis of JEE Main score.
- Admission to MBA and MCA programs will be done through PTU centralized Counseling based on the score obtained in PMET. 85% seats will be reserved for the students who belong to Punjab and other 15% seats will be reserved for other state students.
- Admission to BCA, Must have completed 10+2 with Mathematics as compulsory subject from recognized University.
- Admission to BMS, B.Com, B.sc and M.Com will be done on the merit basis of qualifying examination.
- Admission to M.Tech, students must hold Bachelor’ degrees in Engineering from recognized University.
