Hanswahini Institute of Science and Technology is also known as HIST, located in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. It was established in the year 1997 by Surendra Educational Society. It is approved by AICTE New Delhi and affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education, Lucknow.

• HIST offers Diploma courses in 5 disciplines. The duration of the course is three years. 
• To be eligible for Diploma course, students must have completed high school with Mathematics, Science, and English as main subject from the recognized Board. Admission will be done through JEEP Counseling.
• For direct admission in the second year, students must have completed 10+2 in science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects from recognized Board or ITI.
