Madhav Institute of Technology and Science (MITS) is commonly known as Madhav Engineering College, located in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. The college is Government Aided Autonomous which has been established in the year 1957. It is approved by AICTE New Delhi and affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal.
It offers the courses in 3 disciplines namely Engineering, Architecture and Planning and Computer Application. The offered courses are B.Arch, MCA, B.E in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Biotechnology, Electronics and Telecommunication, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering etc, M.Tech in Biotechnology, Cyber Security, Production Engineering, Microwave Engineering, Geo-Informatics, Environmental Engineering, Information technology, M.E in Construction Technology and Management, Structural Engineering etc, Ph.D and Master of Urban Planning.
The Campus is sprawl over an area of 47 acres of green lush land. There are two zones i.e. a residential zone with 5 hostels and an academic zone. It has a student activity center which is a part of the academic zone and mainly conducts extracurricular activities.
There are well equipped and spacious classroom, laboratories, seminar hall, workshops, computer center, library, medical aid, transport facility, sports facility, seminar hall, hostel, mess, laundry facility, cafeteria etc.
The training and placement cell conducts various activities for the overall development of students and prepares them so that they can face the final interview with the companies confidently. The major recruiters are Accenture, Cognizant, IBM, Infosys, Britannia Industries, Igate, Zensar, Lupin, Eicher, Quick Heal, Cadbury, Saint Gobain, Suzlon, Syntel and many others.

MITS offers B.E in various disciplines, to be eligible for this course, students must have completed 10+2 in science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects from recognized board. They must have obtained minimum 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC/ST). Students must have valid score in JEE Main. Admission will be done on the basis of score obtained in JEE Main.
To take admission in B.Arch course, students must have done 10+2 with Mathematics and English as the main subject and have a valid rank in NATA. Admission will be done only on the basis of score obtained in NATA.
Admission to M.Tech and ME will be done on the basis of score obtained in GATE exam or Written Exam (for vacant seats).
Admission to MCA, students must have completed graduation and studied Mathematics as the main subject at 10+2 level. Admission will be done as per the norms of Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Bhopal.
For Ph.D. admission, must have completed Master’s degree in relevant discipline from recognized University. Students need to appear in Entrance Test conducted by RGPV. Admission will be done on the basis of score obtained in Entrance Test.

MITS fee structure is feasible as it is a government college.
There is a concession in the fees of SC/ST category students.
