Town Polytechnic is a private polytechnic college which is located in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh. It has been established in the year 1957. The college is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education, Lucknow and approved by All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi.
It imparts the technical education in the field of Polytechnic Engineering. The offered courses are Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronics Engineering. The duration of the course is three years.
The campus of the college is well established with having all the modern facilities and amenities for the students inside the campus. There are fully furnished classrooms, computer center, well-stocked library with a large collection of books, journals, periodicals, newspapers etc, well-equipped labs and workshops, medical and sports facility and many other facilities are also available for the students.

The college offers the diploma course in a polytechnic engineering discipline. The minimum eligibility for Diploma course is high school with science, English and mathematics as mandatory subjects from recognized Board. They must have obtained a minimum 35% marks in qualifying examination.
Students will have to appear in the entrance examination conducted by Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education, Lucknow. Admission of students will be done through the counseling based on the score obtained in the entrance examination.
For Lateral Entry, students must have completed ITI or 10+2 in science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects from recognized Board. They must have obtained minimum 60% marks in qualifying examination.
