B.A. Textile Design admission 2021

 B.A. – Textile Design is known as Bachelor of Arts in Textile Design, which is an undergraduate degree program. Textile design is the process of creating designs for woven, knitted or printed fabrics or surface ornamented fabrics. It has three main textiles design practices - print, knit and weave along with the digital and non-traditional techniques to textile design, trend prediction and presentation. It covers the study about the production of the designs which are used in clothing and interior décor items. It includes the drawing, color workshops, materials and digital media. Under this course, students will gain the technical skills for textile practices and experiment with non- traditional techniques to design interior, clothing and accessories. At the same time, they will maximize their creative and potential for the designing.
In addition, students who have completed their 10+2 with any stream can apply for this degree program. After being graduated with this degree, they can find many career opportunities in various companies as Textile Design Assistant, Design Consultant, Embroidery Designer, Exhibition Designer, Textile Design Media Specialist, Dyeing & Printing Consultant etc.
