B.Sc Optometry Course Eligibility

Students wishing to take admission into B.Sc in Optometry have to mandatorily passed 10+2 examination in science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics as the compulsory subjects of study. Some institutions demand for at least 60% aggregate marks in 12th to be eligible for admission. Apart from fulfilling the qualification eligibility, candidates also have to qualify the entrance test wherever required.

Admission Procedure for B.Sc Optometry

• In India, most of the colleges provide admission into this course on merit basis.
• The colleges prepares merit list on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2 examination.
• There are few colleges which offer admission on the basis of entrance test like AIIMS, CMC, JNU and Delhi University regulates their own entrance test.
• Shortlisted candidates have to complete all the admission formalities to get seats.
