B.Tech. - Agricultural Engineering Admission 2021 & Top Colleges

  • Agricultural engineering is one of the disciplines of engineering in which engineering science and technologies are applied in the cultivation, irrigation and farming methods for the efficient production of food.
  • It combines the engineering and agricultural science knowledge to develop the technology that increases the productivity and production of farming.
  • The course includes both theoretical classes as well as practical sessions. To become a good engineer, students are required to attend both of them.
  • B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering is 4 years long undergraduate programme. It is a full-time course.

•    JEE Main is one of the popular national level entrance exams which grant admission into UG engineering courses. Students have to score qualifying marks in an entrance test to be eligible for admission in NITs and other reputed engineering institutions.
•    Some other agricultural entrance exams are ICAR AIEEA, AP EAMCET, TS EAMCET, KEAM, MP PAT, OUAT, etc.
•    After qualifying the exam, students have to appear the counseling round for taking admission.
