Andhra Pradesh Pre Matric Scholarship For Minority Students 2020, Eligibility, Last Date & Application Form

Andhra Pradesh Pre Matric Scholarship is a worthwhile opportunity for the students of class 6th to class 10th, studying in schools of Andhra-Pradesh. This scholarship has been introduced by the Andhra Pradesh State Minorities Finance Corporation Ltd, with the main motive of providing financial support to the students with an economically weaker background. The amount of scholarship program will be up to INR 800.

Eligibility for Andhra Pradesh Pre-Matric Scholarship

To apply for this scholarship, the candidate must fulfill these requirements:-

  • Candidate must be a student of class 6th to class 10th.
  • Candidate must belong to a family that has an economically weaker background.
  • Candidate must have domicile of Andhra-Pradesh.
  • The family income of the candidate shouldn't be more than INR 1,00,000 P/A.
  • Candidate must have an attendance record of a minimum of 75%.

Awards/Benefits of Andhra Pradesh Pre-Matric Scholarship

The benefits of this scholarship are based on the class level of students:-

  • Students studying between class 6th-8th will receive INR 600 P/A
  • Students studying between class 9th-10th will receive INR 800 P/A

How to Apply for Pre Matric Scholarship to Minorities

The application procedure for this scholarship has been arranged fully offline. Students are advised to fill up their application forms, and then submit it to Executive Director/DMWO of the concerned districts.

Selection Criteria of Andhra Pradesh Pre-Matric Scholarship

After the successful submission of offline forms, students' data will be entered on the website. After that, the selection committee will monitor all of the received applications and will provide approval according to it. The members of the selection committee include Joint Collector, District Education Officer, and ED APSMFC. The scholarship amount will be transferred to the students' bank accounts directly from the ED/DMWO's office.
