Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship Delhi 2020, Eligibility Criteria, Application Form & Last Date 

Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India is offering Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship Delhi 2020 for the students belonging to the minority communities. Students after passing Class 12th can apply for this scheme. The scholarship has the aim to support and provide financial assistance to the meritorious students of the minority community to pursue higher studies at graduation and above level.

• This scholarship is available for studies in India in a government/ private institutions selected by the concerned state government/Union Territory.
• To be eligible for the award of scholarship, students must secure admission into undergraduate or postgraduate courses in a recognized institution.
• Students who will secure minimum 50 % marks in the previous final examination will be eligible for this scheme.
• The annual income of the applicant parent’s/guardian must not exceed INR 2.5 Lacs.

Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship Delhi Reward

Students will receive a scholarship for the complete duration of the course subject to maintain satisfactory academic performance. The scholarship amount of up to INR 20,000/- per annum will be offered to both day scholars and hostellers for pursuing a particular course. Additionally, hosteller students will receive the maintenance allowance of INR 1,000/- per annum and day scholars will get INR 500/- per annum.

How To Apply For Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship Delhi 2020

Below, we are providing the application process of Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship Delhi:

1. Students can apply online through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).
2. Click here to apply online.
3. After clicking this link, click on “New User? Register here”.
4. Fill all the requisite details including domicile of state, name, mobile number, gender, email ID, select scholarship category, scheme, etc.
5. Also, enter your bank details including bank account number and IFSC code.
6. After successful completion of registration, students will get an OTP in their registered mobile number.
7. Verify your mobile number and proceed further for filling the application form.
8. Enter all the details carefully.
9. At last, note down your user ID/application ID and password for further use.

Candidates can also submit the hard copy of the filled-in application form to the Deptt. for the Welfare of SC/ST/OBC/Min., GNCTD before the last date.

Important Dates

The application process of Merit-Cum- Means Scholarship Delhi (for minority students) has been started. Candidates must submit the filled-in application form before 30th November. 

Selection Procedure

The selection of the eligible students will be done on the basis of academic merit and their financial need.
