Nokia Foundation offers Nokia Scholarship 2020 to the students pursuing a doctoral degree in information or telecommunications technology or in related scientific disciplines. The scholarship can be granted for doctoral studies in Finnish University or to a Finnish applicant for doctoral studies abroad. The main objective of offering this scholarship is to encourage the efficient doctoral studies and research.

Nokia Scholarship 2020 Eligibility Criteria

In order to apply for this scholarship, students have to fulfill the following eligibility conditions:

• Candidates belong to any national can apply for this scholarship.
• The student must pursue a Ph.D. degree in the field of information or telecommunications technology or a related scientific discipline.
• This scholarship is offered to Finnish applicants for doctoral studies abroad.

Nokia Scholarship Reward 2020

Parting funding for pursuing doctoral studies will be given to scholars. The scholarship will not be offered more than twice to the same student.

Note: Applicant must receive a commitment statement from his/ her principal supervisor at the university where a student pursuing their degree. The supervisor has to submit the statement to the application database.

Important Dates

Online application of Nokia Scholarship, 2020 has been started from 1st August. The application deadline is 1st October. The announcement regarding the selection of students will be published on the official website of the Nokia Foundation in December 2018. The selected students will get the scholarship amount directly into their accounts.

The selection of the students will be done on the basis of the fulfillment of eligibility criteria and their academic performance.
