As mentioned, Jnanabhumi is an online portal launched by the CM of Andhra Pradesh Chandrababu Naidu in the year 2017. This portal is a kind of paperless way of disseminating post-matric and pre-matric scholarships. Apart from disseminating scholarship, this portal offers many other services like education services, providing online affiliation to university/board skill up-gradation programs, result declaration of admissions.
Andra Pradesh Government has disbursed Pre Matric, Post Matric scholarship, and many other scholarships of approx 5000 on yearly basis to 17 lakh students of category SC/ST/BC/Differently abled/Minorities/Kapu/EBC communities of the state. The scholarships are offered by different stakeholders that include government departments, colleges /schools, hostels, affiliating authorities, bank branches, etc. All these activities are online done through Jnanabhumi Scholarship 2021. Under this scholarship students get reward of 1.5 lakh per annum to complete their studies.

Post Matric Scholarship is offered under Jnanabhumi Scholarship to the students who are belonging to minorities, SC, ST, BC, EBC, Kapu, and differently able communities of the state. The scholarship is centred to offer benefits to the underprivileged section of the society for higher education. The main fundraiser of this scholarship is fifteen government departments,36 Affiliating authorities,8000+ bank branches,8000+colleges,2,894 hostels. This scheme will be offered to the minority communities and marking the population on a saturation basis.
Pre Matric Scholarship is offered to the students studying in class I to X in government or recognized board of private schools of the state. The main aim is to support the financial condition of the underprivileged minority communities and other weak sections of the society. Applicants from BPL families having a low yearly income will be taken into consideration. Only two children of the family will get benefits.
