Maharashtra state has also decided to provide the benefits of the scholarship schemes that come under Maharashtra state by the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) and Services portal. The transfer means a payment made by the government without receiving anything in return from the beneficiary. Subsidies, scholarships are a great example of transfers.
