NEET Entrance Exam 2021 is about to happen on 12th September 2021. NEET Admit Card 2021 is supposed to be released before 9 September 2021. NEET Application Form process date ended on 10th August 2021. The application window was reopened on 13th August 2021 and the last date of fee payment was 15th August 2021.

What is NEET Entrance Exam 2021

NEET Entrance Exam 2021 is conducted by National Testing Agency for admission to MBBS, Veterinary, BDS, Ayush and other medical/paramedical programs in India. The examination is conducted once in the year through offline mode. It is estimated that 16 lakh students appear every year for this exam. NEET mostly emphasized MBBS and BDS admission in India.

NEET Exam 2021 this year will be conducted in 199 cities in which two international countries Dubai and Kuwait have also been included. This is done to facilitate Middle -East based Indian students to appear for NEET Exam 2021. Candidates who are planning to opt for Dubai as an exam centre can make changes from July 2021. Those who have already submitted their application can change their exam city by clicking “application corrector”.

On July 30th 2021, NTA released a notification as per the government of India that there would be 27% per cent OBC reservation for non –creamy layer, 10 per cent EWS reservation 15% All India Reservation seats for MBBS/BDS course. The admission to these courses is affected for the admission 2021-22.

Changes in NEET Exam 2021
 

  • There are some changes done in the exam pattern of NEET 2021. There will be two sections for all the subjects distributed with an equal number of questions. Out of 200 questions, students have to attempt 180 questions from the second section of each subject.
  • NEET Exam 2021 will be conducted in 13 languages.
  • The application process will be done in two-phase. In the first phase, candidates have to enter the information and the second phase will be conducted before the declaration of the result.
  • First-time NEET Exam will be conducted in the international locations Dubai and Kuwait.
  • B.Sc. (Hon) Nursing admission will be done through NEET 2021.

NEET Exam Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria of NEET Exam 2021 are announced by the National Testing Agency. You have to clear the eligibility criteria to apply for NEET-UG 2021. Check your eligibility from the below-mentioned criteria.

Nationality

One must be Indian Nationals, Non-Resident Indians, Overseas Citizen of India, Person with Indian origin and Foreign Nationals.

Age limit

  • Applicants should be a minimum age of 17 years as of 31st December 2021.
  • Students older than 25 years of age can apply for NEET 2021. There is no upper age limit.

Required Qualification

  • Candidates who have cleared class 12th with physics, chemistry and Biology.
  • Candidates who have passed 12th with biology as an additional subject.
  • Candidates who have completed 12th with biology from the open board can also apply.

Percentage criteria

  • General Category – 50%
  • PWD category – 45%
  • SC/ST/OBC – 40%

  •  Mark your answer using a ballpoint pen that you will get in the examination hall.

NEET Exam result is expected to be released in the second week of October. Candidates can apply through login to their registered account. The result will be announced online through the official website and cannot send offline by post. The marks will be final and no request will be taken for re-evaluation /rechecking by NTA.
