  • College of Engineering and Rural Technology (CERT) is a private and self-finance Institute which is located in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. It has been established in the year 1998 under the aegis of the Chitragupta Social Welfare & Educational Society. The college is affiliated to D. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Meerut and Up Board of Technical Education. It is approved by AICTE and MHRD, New Delhi.

  • The campus of CERT spread over an area of 12.36 acres of Land. The college provides well-furnished classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, Medical Aid, Computer Center, Lecture Hall, Library with a Huge number of books, Banking Facility, Separate Hostel for Boys and Girls, Banking facility, Mess and Cafeteria, Transportation, Sports facility, Playground etc.

  • CERT imparts the technical education in Engineering and Management discipline. The offered courses are B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, MBA, M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Diploma in Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

  • It conducts various activities inside the campus for the overall development of student such as college fest, cultural activities, industrial visit etc.

College of Engineering and Rural Technology Admission 2021

  • Students can download the application form from college official website or they can also obtain it from the college campus.

  • For B.Tech admission, students must have completed 10+2 in science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects from recognized Board. They must have obtained minimum 45% marks in qualifying examination.  Admission will be done on the basis of score obtained in UPSEE. For direct admission, students must be secured minimum 50% marks in PCM subjects (45% marks in case of SC/ST).

  • B. Tech Lateral admission, students must have done Diploma in Engineering or ITI are eligible to take admission in the second year.

  • Admission to Polytechnic (Diploma) program, must have completed High school with mathematics and science subject from recognized Board. Students must have valid JEEC – UP rank. Admission will be done on the basis of JEEC – UP rank. For direct admission, students must have completed 10th with science and mathematics subjects and secured minimum 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC/ST). 

  • Diploma Lateral, Students must have completed 10+2 or ITI are eligible to take admission in the second year.

  • For MBA admission, students must have completed graduation in any discipline from recognized University.

  • The fee structure of CERT is nominal is same ad other private institutions. The fee structure changes every year as per the norms of UPTU.

  • The fee includes Examination Fee, Registration fee, Book Bank, Library charges etc. Students have to pay caution money as security amount, it’s refundable.
