Dr. K.N. Modi Engineering College is commonly known as KNMEC, located in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. It is private and self-financed Institute which was established in the year 2009. The college is approved by AICTE and MHRD New Delhi and affiliated to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, and Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education.
It offers the technical education in the field of Engineering. The offered courses are B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in Civil Engineering and Production Engineering.
It has very beautiful campus and the area is very peaceful for better learning. Students can fill online application form on college official website or they can obtain the application form and prospectus from college campus.
Admission to B.Tech in various disciplines, the duration of course is four year. To be eligible for this course, candidates must have completed Intermediate (10+2) in science discipline with minimum 45% marks for General students and 40% marks in case of SC/ST category students.
Students will have to appear in Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam conducted by UPTU. Admission will be done through UPTU counseling based on the score or rank obtained in UPSEE.
For direct admission at the college level counseling, students must have completed 10+2 in science stream with PCM subjects from recognized Board. They must have obtained minimum 50% marks and 45% marks in case of SC/ST category students.
For B.Tech lateral, students must have completed Diploma in Engineering or B.SC with Mathematics from recognized University.
Diploma admission, students must have done high school with science and mathematics subjects from recognized Board. Admission will be done through counseling conducted by UPBTE, Lucknow.
For direct admission, students must have completed high school with minimum 35% marks.
For direct admission in the second year, students must have completed 10+2 in science stream with PCM subjects or ITI.

The fee structure of KNMEC is very less as compare to other colleges.
The tuition fee of B.Tech course is Rs.27,500 per semester.
Registration fee Rs.2,500 p.a, Examination Fee Rs.6,500 p.a, Caution Money Rs. 5000 (one time and refundable money), Uniform Fee Rs.7,500 and Hostel and Mess charge is Rs.65,000 per annum.
