Doon Institute of Engineering And Technology is commonly known as DIET, which is located in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. It has been established in the year 2004 under the aegis of Scholar International Educational Foundation. The college is approved by AICTE New Delhi and affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun and Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education Roorkee.

DIET imparts technical education in the field of Engineering disciplines and offers Bachelor’s, Master's, and Diploma courses. The offered courses are B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Diploma in Automobile Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in Electrical Engineering and M.Tech in Computer Science Engineering.

The campus of the college is spread over an area of 8.044 acres of land with all required facilities and amenities. There are well equipped academic blocks, administrative blocks, air-conditioned lecture halls, laboratories and workshops with the latest equipment, Computer center, well-stocked library, Reading room, etc. The Administrative block of the college consists of Admission Cell, Counseling Room, Accounts office, and the office for administrators. There is a state of the art workshop, seminar hall, and staff rooms. There is a separate hostel for boys and girls, medical facility, transport facility, sports and games, internet connectivity, common rooms for boys and girls, music room, etc.

To get admission to the B.Tech course, students need to complete 10+2 in the science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects from a recognized board. Admission will be done on the basis of the score obtained in JEE Main. Admission to 85% seats out of which 50% seats for Uttarakhand Students and 35% seats for All India will be filled through State Level Counseling conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University on the basis of score obtained in JEE Main. 

• For admission, 15% of management quota seats will be filled directly by the college on the merit of JEE main. 
• For the Diploma course, students must have completed high school with science and mathematics as main subjects from a recognized board.

• The fee structure of DIET is very feasible as compare to other colleges.
• The college fee has been approved by the Government of Uttarakhand. Students have to submit the fee in advance during the time of admission, no adjustments, refunds, and installments are allowed.
