JIMS Engineering Management Technical Campus (JEMTEC), Greater Noida Admission 2022

Founded in 2008, JIMS Engineering Management Technical Campus (JEMTEC) is located in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. It was established under the aegis of Jagan Nath Gupta Memorial Educational Society, which is a non-profit organisation. JEMTEC is a private institute affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU). It is approved by AICTE and MHRD. EMTEC was ranked 7 among the top Law schools in Uttar Pradesh CSR-GHRD Law School Survey-2019. It offers UG programmes such as BTech, BBA, BCom, BCA and Bachelor’s in Journalism & Mass Communication (BJMC). It also offers B.Ed programme under the aegis of Jagannath Institute of Education (JIE) which is approved by the NCTE.

JEMTEC imparts quality education through highly qualified as well as experienced faculty members. They are divided into the categories of assistant professors and professors with experience ranging between six months and 40 years. The institute conducts several workshops, seminars and conferences to provide hands-on experience to the students in the field of metal-smith, foundry, carpentry, welding and other allied skills. It also conducts industrial visits and invites international speakers to make the students industry-ready.  

JEMTEC has an excellent infrastructure such as spacious classrooms, Wi-Fi enabled campus, hi-tech labs and a well-stocked library containing latest edition of books/ journals/ magazines. The institute has dedicated Engineering labs for each specialisation that it offers under the BTech programme. The campus facilities include hostel accommodation, medical room, sports facilities, playgrounds and bus service that provides pick and drop facilities to the students. Several cultural, social and co-curricular activities are also organised by the institute to cheer-up the students from their mundane study schedule.

JEMTEC Admission Process

JEMTEC Admission 2022 offers eight courses in various specialisations under the field of Law, Engineering, Management, Commerce, Information Technology, Journalism and Education. Candidates, who satisfy the course-specific eligibility criteria, can apply by registering themselves in online mode through the official website of the institute. The course-wise details regarding JEMTEC admissions are mentioned below:

• JEMTEC BTech admission is based on a candidate's JEE Main score
• To secure admission in BBA LLB and BA LLB programmes, candidates must have a valid score in CLAT
• For admission to the BBA and B.Ed programmes, candidates are required to qualify IPU CET
• Admission to Bachelor’s in Journalism & Mass Communication (BJMC) is based on the merit obtained in Class 12

JEMTEC Courses

JEMTEC offers UG programmes such as BTech, BBA, BCom, BCA, B.Ed and BJMC. The institute also offers five-year integrated programmes, namely BA LLB and BBA LLB. The duration of BTech programme is four years while for B.Ed programme, it is two years. The duration of the remaining UG programmes is three years each. JEMTEC Placements

To provide career solutions to the students, JEMTEC has launched Career Development Centre (CDC), which was formerly known as training and placement department. It organises guest lectures, seminars, conferences, summer training, industrial visits and other corporates events throughout the year. It commemces the placements process by inviting top corporates for campus placements in September every year. Approximately 116 students got placed during JEMTEC placements 2019 drive in the reputed companies with the highest package of Rs 4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was Rs 2 LPA.
