Guidelines

  1. 40% of seats are reserved by permanent residents of the state of Uttarakhand. Somehow, if the seats remain vacant, due to the unavailability of eligible students, then the seats will be allotted to other students.
  2. A fixed 26% of allowance will be given to the permanent residents of Uttarakhand state, on the tuition fee fixed for the Ph.D. Program.
  3. On each successive term, an increment of 10% shall apply to the tuition fee, till the Ph.D. program completes.
  4. INR 2,000 (Entrance Exam Fee- RAT) is the application form fee, which is necessary to be paid by the candidate at the time of application form submission. Although, the fee is non-refundable in any situation.
  5. The final date of fee submission for new admission will be mentioned in the admission letter. Then, the fee will be deposited according to the fee timings of the University.
  6. In case the candidate didn't submit the fee in the prescribed time of University, then a fine of INR 1000 will be charged along with the prescribed fee, or there are also chances that the Ph.D. program of the candidate shall be mentioned as canceled, while the paid fee will also be forfeited.
  7. If the candidate wants to apply for the Ph.D. program again, then the re-admission fee of INR 5,000 shall be paid by the candidate, along with a recommendation letter by the Registrar and a signature of the Vice-Chancellor of the University on it.
  8. The minimum duration for submission of the thesis will be 3 years and the maximum is 5 years. In case the scholar wants more time, then an extra charge per year must be paid by the scholar as a penalty.
  9. All the matters related to Fee/Deposits may be revised by the University anytime, without any prior notice. So, all of the candidates must stay aware of the changes, as they apply to everyone.

How to get Refund | Procedure of Refund

To get a refund, the candidate should follow up these below-mentioned steps:-

  • The candidate must fill up a prescribed application form and have to submit it to the Directorate of Research at the University campus only.
  • To get a complete refund, these documents are required to be submitted: Original Fee Receipt, ID Card (If already issued), Clearance Certificate, or any documented material issued by the University at the time of admission.
  • A refund will be made within three months from the date of application through an account payee cheque in the favor of the concerned candidate.
  • In case of any dispute, the decision of Registrar and Vice-Chancellor of University will be taken into consideration
  • If the dispute arises the entire matter will be solved under the Jurisdiction of the Haridwar court only.

Admission Departure | Fee Refund Policy

The fee Refund Policy is only applicable if the application is received before the conduction of the RDC meeting. Any application received after the conduction of the RDC meeting shall be considered void.

Refundable Payment
In case a candidate demands the fee withdrawal after taking admission in PhD, but prior to the RDC meeting, then the tuition fee submitted by the candidate will be refunded. If the candidate demands a refund after the RDC meeting, then the amount will be forfeited and no refund will be entertained.

Non-Refundable Fees

  • Fees paid for the application form and prospectus will not be returned.
  • The admission and Enrollment fee paid by the candidate at the time of admission is also non-refundable.
  • If any applicant tries to get admission to the University through any illegal or fraudulent activity, then the candidate will not get any refund, and instant termination will be filed against the candidate with the signature of the vice-chancellor on it.
  • Plus, there are also chances that the candidate will be liable to disciplinary actions as decided by the University or as per the law of land.
