IHM Dehradun Admission 2024 is an Independent Institute established by the Ministry of Tourism, Govt of India under its Grants-In-Aids Scheme in 2006. The processing of the college is under State Government Society and Managed by the Governing body. It is a newly established college in Dehradun which is affiliated to Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi (IGNOU). The College is certified by ISO 9001 and HACC in 2008.

It offers an undergraduate degree course in hospitality and Hotel Administration which is formed by the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT), Noida and IGNOU, New Delhi as well as they also offer the Short term courses like Diploma and PG Diploma.

Offered Courses Like:

1) B.Sc. Hospitality and Hotel Administration 

• 12th from a recognized board with English as one of a subject.
• Age Limit – 22 years (General/PH)and 25 years (SC/ST )candidates as on 1st July.
• In the case of SC/ST candidate’s upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years. 
•  Candidates appearing for 12th or equivalent examination can appear in JEE for being considered on a provisional basis.
• Provisional admission will stand canceled if proof of having passed the qualifying examination (12th) is not submitted to the concerned institute. 
• The decision regarding eligibility NCHM&CT shall be final. 

IHM Dehradun  UG Admission Process

IHM, Dehradun offers a UG degree course in the stream of Hospitality and Hotel Administration. To get admission in these course candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with English as a compulsory subject. Candidates who have completed their education from abroad like London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka must have cleared the GCE examination at an advanced level. Admission will be done on the basis of the Joint Entrance Exam conducted by NCHMCT, Noida. Candidates must register themselves for counseling after the result of the entrance examination. Online counseling forms will be available from the official website of NCHMCT. Candidates must be 25 years of age to apply for this course. Candidates belonging to SC/ST will be given age relaxation of 3 years in the upper age limit.

2) Diploma Program for Food Production and Food and Beverage Service 

• Students must have done 12th from a recognized board with English as a mandatory subject.
• Age limit is not more than 22 years for General /PH and 25 years on SC/BC candidates as on 1st July are eligible.
• D.O.B proof should match the mentioned D.O.B in the application.
• Admission will be rejected for any false information.

3) PG Graduation Diploma in Accommodation Operation

• Graduate in any stream with 50% marks aggregate.
• 25 years as on 1st of July.
• Students belonging to SC/ST category will get age relaxation.
• Reservation to SC/ST and Physically handicapped candidates as per the government of Uttarakhand.  In case of non-availability of admission of reserved candidates the seats will remain vacant.
