As per UGC guidelines, a candidate is entitled to a fee refund only before the last date of admission of the respective course, provided the vacated seat is filled by another candidate. The fee refund for these cases will be done as stated below:-

• In case the candidate opts for a fee refund before the start of the academic session.

The complete given fee will be refunded after a deduction of Rs. 1,000/- towards processing charges and counselling fees by the university. The certificate in original will be returned to the candidate by the university. Note that the application form fee of Rs. 1,000/- one paid is not refundable, under any circumstances.

A candidate is entitled to a hostel fee refund only before the last date of admission to the respective course. The hostel fee refund for these cases will be done as stated below:-

• In case the candidate opts for a hostel fee refund before the start of the academic session.

The complete given hostel fee will be refunded after a deduction of Rs. 1,000/- towards processing charges by the university. But for this, the candidate must not have occupied the hostel room.

• In case the candidate opts for a hostel fee refund after the start of the academic session, and after availing of the hostel services

If a candidate has availed of the hostel services, then the fee collected from the candidate will not be refunded. 

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• For refund, the “date of receipt on the application of refund” in the admission office will be considered as the date of withdrawal.  
• Only applications duly signed by the candidate and countersigned by the Parent or Guardian will be considered for withdrawal. Candidates must submit their applications at the University's Admission Office.  
• Postal delay is not the responsibility of the University and the date on which the application is received at the admission office will be considered.  
• Refund will be made only after the candidate has surrendered the original receipt, ID card (if issued), and any other document as required by the University
