B.A. LLB offers students the opportunity to enter the field of education at a very early stage of the academic career. It is an integrated course of law where students get the opportunity to simultaneously study law and humanities. The allied subjects offered under this course are English, Political Science, History, Sociology, Business Studies, and Management. On completion of BA LLB, a student earns a graduate degree in law and provides compulsory practical training and mandatory moot court practice.

The duration of the course is 5 years consisting of ten semesters.

Uttaranchal University Admission Process 2023-24: Eligibility Criteria

• Admission is based on merit/qualifying marks computed based on marks secured in the qualifying examination.
• University also conducts interviews of all applicants before admitting the eligible candidates.
• Out of a total of 40% seats are allotted to students of Uttarakhand state under state quota and the rest are open to students from all over India.
• U.K. domicile candidates would be granted a 26% rebate in tuition fees.
• Admission is done through the Uttaranchal university exam or a valid score of CLAT.

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant should have passed 12th or its equivalent examination. Students should have secured a minimum of 45% marks in the case of the general category and 40% marks in the case of SC/ ST.
