B. Tech. - Metallurgical Engineering stands for Bachelor of Technology in Metallurgical Engineering, which is an undergraduate degree program. Metallurgical Engineering deals with all sorts of metal related areas. It includes the major area of study such as Hydrometallurgy, Mechanical metallurgy, Heat treatment of steels, Welding metallurgy and morel. It has three branches i.e. Physical Metallurgy, Extractive metallurgy, and Mineral Processing. Under this course, student will gain the knowledge of designing, manufacturing and production of various metal products that ranges from cars and bikes to buildings and planes. Moreover, they will be trained with problem-solving abilities and ability to extract metal from ore and gathering mineral products from earth’s crust.
