M. Tech. - General is known as Master of Technology in General, which is a postgraduate degree program.  General engineering is a broad term that covers a variety of different types of engineering. It’s all about the principles and application which use in the field of engineering. Under this course, students will study about Programming in C, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Communications Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Operating Systems, Algorithm Analysis and Design, Data Structure, Database Management System, Network Theory, Instrumentation, Engineering Mechanics etc. Through this course, students will know about advanced computational and analysis tools which enhance the capability of the Engineer. In addition, students who hold B.E or B. Tech. degree can only apply for this Master degree. Once they will gain this degree, they can find many job profiles such as Engineering technician, Urban Planner, Engineering Manager, Industrial engineer, Mechanical engineer etc.
