M. Tech. - Machine Design stands for Master of Technology in Machine Design, which is a postgraduate degree program. Machine design is the process of engineering design which includes Computer aided design and manufacturing. It is a complex application of mathematics, kinematics, Statics and dynamics, Mechanics of Materials, material science and engineering and also engineering drawing.  It mainly focuses on the design of mechanisms and components using analytical, numerical and experimental approaches. It leads to a formation of an entirely new machine. Under this course, students will study the subjects of Advanced Engineering, Mathematics, Advanced Mechanics of Solids, Theory of Vibrations, Design Engineering etc.
