MS in General Surgery Admission 2021

  • It is a 3 years’ post graduate program in surgery, divided into six semesters. 
  • General Surgery is the branch of medicine which deals with treating diseases and injuries through the operative procedure. 
  • It involved the surgical treatment of colon, liver, thyroid gland, intestines, esophagus, stomach etc. 
  • Under this course, you will study topics like Neurosurgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, E.N.T., Orthopaedics and Cardiovascular Surgery.
  • It covers the study of all type of surgeries like General Surgery, Neuro Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Pediatric Surgery etc. 
  • On the completion of your academic study, you will undergo a training period of few years or may be months. 
  • Once you will successfully hold this degree, you will get licensed to conduct surgery as a part of medical treatment. 
  • The minimum eligibility to pursue this course is to hold MBBS Degree with at least one year of internship.
